Ninja Mau Postcard Sticker Set
This is so Kawaii, Ninja Mau reminds me of Ninji of Super Mario Bros 2, so its gotta be a winner in my book! The Sushi is so great, I really admire work with no outlines ironically enough. There's Ebi (prawn) Nigiri, Salmon Nigiri, and some Futomaki! Truly a feast for Ninja Mau, and my eyes :)

fishstick massacre redux
some vector squiddy goodness!! I was told the other day at work the squid has 8 legs and 2 arms ;)
totally love the style here, and those "poor" fish fingers... hehehehe
Windy
Done in acrylics on wooden panel, this reminds me of some classic compositions, with the artist's, Flim291's own spin. Sometimes hard to pull off, this looks fantastic!! The hair is truly cool, and it all seems very liquid, for such a bold style :) The eyes are perfect!!

red dot series
Here's a gorgeous vector I came across... the artist describes it as "Japanese inspired minimalistic illustration series" and I couldn't agree more! I can see inspirations of the Flag of Japan, the flow of Kimono fabric and Obi, Geisha's hair, water, etc etc. Such beautiful work!

Philadelphia Roll
Enough to make you want to convert to some sort of Sushi Religion, this is called a Philadelphia Roll, which is:
avocado, salmon, tuna with cream cheese, topped with salmon roe and black and white sesame.
I've been trying to have a bit of a food theme in the Japanfluence Group lately.... Sushi images are scarce in our Group, and we're very hungry!
I haven't heard of this one here in Australia, and like dishes such as a California Roll, unheard of in Japan. This would be considered "western sushi" and not eaten in Japan...... i think they are missing out! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Karin is one of the most prolific members of Redbubble, and her star certainly shines here at Japanfluence.
I have chosen to feature this Geisha Girl piece, which really shows the gorgeous detail which Karin achieves with her work.
This also sees the 100th post for the Japanfluence Blog, and I'm so pleased to be able to bring you such an artist as this for it!!

Koi T-shirt
This Koi was done in Sharpies on Bristol paper, and is absolutely stunning!
I really love the style of the waves, and every detail has been taken care of. The colours work so well together.
Check out this other tee from Angelique, a wonderful geisha which was originally a tattoo design.

Detail of a vintage E-hon
Printed around the 1850's.
Bought at a market in Ueno. Each page is very thin & the details extraordinary, considering everything you see printed had to be 'carved' in reverse first. (words by P F C)
